Launch Screen
When you launch ChordWalk you will be presented with a screen as shown below.
The default creation screen of ChordWalk displays several key areas:
A Chord Selection area,
A virtual instrument-playing area,
Two Arpeggiator areas,
A Metronome
A Beat syncing area.
The default view is a virtual piano, but a virtual guitar view is also available. This guide will explain each component and show you how to use these features effectively to compose and play meaningful and memorable compositions.
We'll start with ChordWalk's basic features. Experienced composers, producers, and performers may prefer to skip ahead to the advanced features and functions.
Many users dive into new software without reading the guide, experimenting with different features and buttons on their own. While this can be a fun way to learn, you might return to this guide later for clarity. Welcome back!
Before you close this document, please note a few important points. To play sounds, you must set up a MIDI Playing Device Connection. This setup is crucial for getting started - use the search functionality to pick your preferred system for instructions.
