If you have selected a key, mode, or key combination compelling, save those settings for future use.

To start a new composition, open a new tab and select a key or key combination using the Key Selection icon. A drop-down menu displays the key options. Select the desired key, mode or key combination.

Select the base octave range for your composition using the Octave Selection icon.
A drop-down menu will display octave ranges supported.

Note: Many instruments and synths have octave range limits, so be aware that some of your octave settings may be outside the high/low note frequency range of the selection instrument in your DAW.

ChordWalk offers the choice to select and display any key, together with its mode. The primary triads and seventh chords will be displayed on the bottom and middle rows.

The chords of the mode are displayed on the top row. Presenting mode chords with their primary key chords, provides an expanded palette of chord choices to develop compelling, interesting and unique chord progressions.
