Playing Chord using Qwerty Keyboard

Chords can also be selected using your Qwerty keyboard. The assignments are shown in the images below.

  • Z to M is mapped to Triads.

  • A to J is mapped to Sevenths.

  • Q to U is mapped to Borrowed chords.

  • Up/Down and Left/Right keys will move to a corresponding chord selection.

When selecting chords with the keyboard, you get into a rhythm very quickly, and chord changes will appear very seamless for fast changes in Free Run mode. Jazz or moody pieces can sound impressive, fulfilling, and fun when played across the Seventh Chord Row using the keyboard.

Remember: You must engage the cursor focus in the Chord Selection Matrix area to trigger your Chord Selections using the Qwerty Keyboard.
